Distinguished Lecture Series

Back to News and Events

Every year, our department organizes the Distinguished Lecturer Series (DLS), a notably successful program that attracts accomplished scientists to Stony Brook for talks. DLS brings together undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty in audiences and discussions, helps motivate undergraduates to get involved in research, and bolsters the stature of the Computer Science Department nationwide. DLS has developed into a premier forum for innovators in Computer Science from around the world to share their knowledge with a broad constituency.
