Programming Techniques Teaching Lab

Mission Introduce students to programming practice and techniques as they exist in the "real world". The Lab is also the primary Computer Lab for "hands-on" testing. The Lab will be unavailable whenever it is being used for a classroom programming exam.
Hardware 47 modern X86 based systems set inside ergonomic desks which allow the room to be used as a traditional classroom or in conjunction with the student computers and a computer linked projector for classroom instruction or exercises.
Operating System MS Windows
Software Tools available to the students include Microsoft Visual Studio .Net, Java, and IBM VisualAge development environments.
Details Access to the laboratory is primarily for students taking Computer Science courses.
