Title Introduction to the Internet
Description The basics of searching the Internet in a laboratory setting, providing students with experience in navigating the World Wide Web for information retrieval. Skills covered include using MOSAIC or NETSCAPE; remote logic with TELNET; accessing databases and international library resources; downloading information from FTP sites; subscribing to LISTSERVS and participating in Usenet Newsgroups. Not for computer science or information systems major credit or for credit in addition to any CSE or ISE course.
