I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Stony Brook University. I am part of the Image Analysis Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Dimitris Samaras. My research interests are in the general area of Computer Vision, and more particularly in Inverse Rendering problems such as illumination estimation from a single image and 3D shape estimation. Through my research I have also been interested in the applications of graphical models in computer vision problems. I also have a general interest in the areas of machine learning and computer graphics.
