Background: I am a first year PhD student, in the Department of Computer Science at the State University of New York - Stony Brook. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. I also spent several months as an intern in the University of Hannover, Germany (2010) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (2009) during my undergraduate years. I completed my schooling in South Point (High) School, Kolkata.
Research Interests: My research interests include Energy-Efficient networking protocols for wireless embedded systems and Sensor Networks. I am also quite interested in the emerging areas like Internet of Things, Green Computing and smart RFID applications. A detailed description of my works can be found in my research page.
