Informative Graphics

The purpose of informative graphics is to communicate information through the presentation of words, numbers, and pictures.

This raises some important questions:

• What characterizes a good informative graphic?
• How can we use "data ink" effectively?
• How can we pack more information into a single graphic?
• How can we show data changes?
