Course Description

I have several research projects in the fields of Database systems, Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence. All of the projects involve some acquaintance with the projects in the group, followed by theoretical and implementation research. At the end, you would write a detailed report on the work.

If you have a research idea on your own, and it falls into my area of expertise, then I would be happy to advise and provide you guidance.

All project courses require my written approval.

Software Projects in which Dr. Paul Fodor is involved:

Natural language processing pipeline: syntactic and semantic analysis and linguistic procedure implementation (like IBM Watson).

Database systems: complex event and stream processing: ETALIS and EP-SPARQL.

Semantic Web: XSB and SILK.

Application

If you are interested in taking a research course with me, please email me your resume and we will schedule a meeting to talk about your project.
