Artificial intelligence is fundamental to understanding the future of medicine. This day long seminar will present the basic building blocks of the field, allow understanding of the specific challenges of application of artificial intelligence to medicine, cover the application of natural language processing, and the ethical artificial intelligence. Given the fundamental basis of medicine, first do no harm, understanding the strengths, weaknesses and pitfalls of artificial intelligence in healthcare is mission critical for all involved inpatient care, public health, medical research and medical education.
