Event Description:

International Meshing Roundtable

General Conference Information

The Roundtable this coming summer will be held virtually between Tuesday, June 22, 2021 and Friday, June 25, 2021 with the Short Courses being held on Monday, June 21.  There will be no registration fee, so we hope to have record attendance this year.

Like always, the keystone of the conference is the technical papers and presentations (see below for the call for papers). There will be some changes for this virtual conference, including combining the Research Abstracts and the Poster Session into a “Technical Video Session”. Like in past years, there will again be a “Meshing Maestro” contest.

Conference Website

More information about all facets of the conference will be available on the International Meshing Roundtable website -- which should be available in the next few weeks.  We will send out another notice when the website is ready.

Paper Submissions

The 29th International Meshing Roundtable (IMR) solicits technical papers that present original results on meshing and related technology. We encourage novel theoretical ideas and practical algorithms that may have implications in science and engineering applications requiring space discretization such as geometric modeling, computer graphics, simulation, and visualization.

Full Papers
Full papers must have original and substantial contribution in order to be accepted. All papers will be rigorously peer-reviewed by reviewers selected by the organizing committee. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings and will also be available on the IMR website. Full papers are limited to 18 pages (US letter size) in length, including figures, tables, references and appendices. Authors of accepted papers will be required to prepare a 25-minute pre-recorded presentation and participate in a 5-minute live Q&A session.
