Event Description

Abstract:

In this talk, I'll give a brief introduction to quantum computing and
networks. In short, quantum networks enable the construction of large,
robust, and more capable quantum computing platforms by connecting
smaller QCs. I will discuss our recent works on two key research
topics in quantum networks: (i) Generation and distribution of quantum
entanglements, and (ii) Distribution of Quantum Programs/Circuits.
Entangled aubits facilitate quantum communication via teleportation,
and thus their generation and distribution in quantum network is of
great importance. Also, to harness the computational benefit of
quantum networks, we need to develop efficient (low-communication)
strategies to distribute quantum programs.
