Information Systems Minor Requirements

The minor in Information Systems is open to all students not majoring in either Computer Science or Information Systems or minoring in Computer Science. To declare the minor in Information Systems, students must complete ISE 108 with a grade of C or higher and possess a cumulative grade point average of 2.80 or higher. The minor requires seven courses totaling 21 credits as outlined below:

  1. ISE108 (Introduction to Programming) or CSE110 (Introduction to Computer Science)
  2. CSE114 Computer Science I
  3. ISE 218 Fundamentals of Information Technology
  4. Four electives, totaling at least 12 credits. Electives must include 9 credits of upper division courses and at least 9 credits of CSE or ISE courses.
    Note: All courses above must be passed with a grade of C or higher
