Embedded Systems Security @Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering

Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering is a not-for-profit applied research and technology transfer organization located on the campus of University of Maryland at College Park. Fraunhofer CESE is a research and technology-transfer organization, conducting projects financed by the federal government and private industry on a diversity of topics: software architecture, automated testing, software inspections and measurement, mobile apps, medical device safety, and embedded systems security. In this talk, Dr. Arnab Ray, senior research scientist, will provide an overview of the organization and embedded systems security work , specifically in the domains of medical and automotive security, that is being done at Fraunhofer.

Dr. Arnab Ray is a senior research scientist at Fraunhofer Cener for Experimental Software Engineering and an adjunct associate professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Maryland at College Park. His research interests are formal methods, software architecture and security. He graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from Stony Brook in 2004
