Yahoo! 2012 Key Scientific Challenges Program Award

 

PhD Student Vicente Ordonez has been selected to receive a Yahoo! 2012 Key Scientific Challenges Program Award in the Web Information Management - Multimedia category. This award was created to recognize outstanding graduate student researchers from universities around the globe who have the greatest potential to make significant contributions and become thought leaders in their research fields. Vicente works analyzing image collections from the web using Computer Vision, his advisor is Prof. Tamara L. Berg.
