Stony Brook SHEroes - Diversity Networking Lunch

Event Goal: The purpose of this event is to connect current SBU students to women in the workplace to learn about women issues as well as internship & job opportunities.

Event Layout: Each women professional will be placed at a round table with 6-8 students. Each will have an opportunity to provided a 1 min. commercial, will tackle one or more of the event topics listed below, and the recruiters from that company will share information about internships and full-time jobs. Students will get to rotate to 2-3 tables at this event.

- Get Empowered - the Me Too Movement
- Breaking through the Glass Ceiling
- The Wage Gap
- The LGBTQ Factor
- She's Assertive therefore she is a ????!
