Praveen Tripathi research focused on the problems of finding out the hot spots of activity in trajectory data, directional analysis of trajectory data and trajectory smoothing techniques and Multi-Objective Optimization (MOO) using Evolutionary Algorithms (EA). He developed some Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) based MOO algorithm. The performance of proposed algorithms was compared with existing state-of-art MOO algorithms.
