CS PhD Students Win Honorable Mention at UIST 2020


A paper co-authored by CS PhD students Yu-Jung Jo, Hang Zhao, Yoonsang Kim, along with their advisor, Assistant Professor Xiaojun Bi and Professor and Associate Dean IV Ramakrishnan, as well as Shumin Zhai, a collaborator from Google LLC won the best paper honorable mention award at UIST 2020 (ACM The ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology), a premier conference of the technical Human Computer Interaction (HCI) community. The paper is titled "Modeling Two Dimensional Touch Pointing", and published in Proceedings of UIST 2020 - The ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology. This award is granted only to the top 5% best ranked submissions. Congratulations to all authors!

The authors will receive public recognition for this achievement at UIST 2020 next month.
