All students are welcome to join us on Dec. 2 for an IPC-style coding selection competition
The Stony Brook Competitive Programming Club (CompProg) is holding a local ICPC-style coding contest on Friday, December 2, 2022 in Room 2311 in Old CS.
Each participant must compete alone, and will get 8 algorithmic programming problems to solve in 3 hours. The contest will be hosted on HackerRank from 7p-11p.
The goal is to identify the top candidates for our ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest teams, which will participate in the Greater New York Regional Contest for a slot in the ICPC World Finals.
Anyone with basic programming experience can take part and volunteers will help in explaining the format of the contest if you are not familiar with it. It is open to all SBU students.

Food and prizes provided by our sponsor:

There will be prizes for the top 3 finishers in the selection contest for each category.

(1) Juniors (for first- and second-year undergraduates),
(2) Seniors (for third- and fourth-year undergraduates), and
(3) Grads (for first- and second-year graduate students).

Registration for the contest is open now. Please register at
