Real Player Network Settings

When I click on a video within Netscape, I get an alert from Real Player saying:
"Unable to connect to server -- Check network transport settings"

You will need to access the "File Play etc" menu bar which is at the top of RealPlayer. Some websites will trigger RealPlayer to launch as a plugin, and the menu bar will not appear. If this is the case just launch a standalone instance of RealPlayer with /usr/local/bin/realplay.

Under "View" select "Preferences", and then the "Transport" tab. Click on "Use specified transport". Under both "RTSP Settings" and "PNA Settings" select "Use HTTP only" and then click OK. RealPlayer should work properly from then on. You may need to exit and restart the original instance.
