Biography

Roy Shilkrot ​is affiliated with the Consortium for Digital Arts, Culture, and Technology (cDACT). He is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stony Brook University. He completed his Ph.D. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the supervision of Prof. Pattie Maes in July 2015. In the past he have worked as a researcher in the Computer Graphics lab in Tel-Aviv University, where he received his M.Sc.in June 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Cohen-Or and Prof. Ariel Shamir. His THESIS was in Computer Graphics: Garment Personalization via Identity Transfer. He was also employed in Microsoft Research at Redmond and as an engineer in various enterprise and start-up companies. He completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Computer Science Tel-Aviv Yaffo College, Tel-Aviv, Israel June 2007.

Awards
Full research assistantship at Media Lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. Scholarship awarded for academic achievements in 2nd year, awarded by Tel-Aviv Yaffo College in 2006. Award of distinguished army service awarded by a Colonel Brigadier in 2003.
