Fall 2010: [Special Topics in] Network Administration Introduces students to the tools and techniques necessary to administer a network in today's complex computing environment. The course covers the types of networking media, topologies, protocols, standards and basics of network implementation and support. Included are discussions of protocol classes, packet filtering, address filtering, network management, and hardware such as protocol analyzers, repeaters, routers, and bridges. |
