It focuses on issues relating to the feasibility, usefulness, efficiency and scalability of techniques for automated extraction of patterns representing knowledge implicity stored in large databases, warehouses, and other massive information repositories. The course gives a broad, yet in-depth overview of the field of data mining and presents one or two techniques in rigorous detail. |
