Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Computer Science at Stony Brook is one of the forces helping to advance the future of technology. We offer two well-respected undergraduate programs, Computer Science (CSE) and Information Systems (ISE), both leading to a bachelor of science degree. Our undergraduate program in Computer Science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org. 

We also offer:

• A rewarding Honors Program in Computer Science;

• CSE specializations in several important and emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Game Programming, Security and Privacy and Systems Software Development;

• ISE specializations in Business and Economics, Financial Information Systems, Health Informatics, System and Network Administration and Technological Systems Management;

• Accelerated Computer Science B.S./M.S. Program;

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) Fast Track Program with an undergraduate major in Computer Science (CSE) or Information Systems (ISE)
